FAQ
Not at all — rather, each of our fragrances is an original composition influenced by some of the most popular perfumes and colognes on the market. All of these names belong to their respective owners, and we are merely using them for comparison purposes in order to provide you with a clearer picture of the aroma accords and personality of each fragrance. When you get the fragrances in the mail or read any of our reviews, we are confident that you will be quite pleased with them. To create a new scent that is inspired by classic originals and that you will love, we use only the best ingredients.
Elysian competes with designer brands in the fragrance industry. It does not employ any of its perfumes and has no connection to the designer labels or the companies that make them in any manner, shape, or form. All trademarks are the exclusive property of their respective owners and must comply with the Statement of Policy Regarding Comparative Advertising issued by the Federal Trade Commission at all times.
At Elysian Parfum, we do not do any tests on animals, and we do not utilize any ingredients that include animal byproducts or are otherwise incompatible with vegans. In addition, Elysian Parfum does not engage in commercial transactions with any manufacturer, supplier, firm, or research organization that conducts animal testing on our customers' behalf. We will not knowingly purchase ingredients from vendors that have carried out, been a part of, or commissioned animal testing.
Testing products on animals is unethical in our opinion. The safety of our customers is important to us, and we believe that this can be achieved without utilizing animals. Elysian Parfum wants to continue to urge its suppliers to test their products for safety using ways that do not involve the use of animals and to fund the development of methods that do not involve the use of animals.
At Elysian, we use a component with the highest possible concentration, which is referred to as “Extrait de Parfum”. The majority of companies utilize either eau de toilette or eau de parfum, which, you may have noticed, does not last that long. Check out the chart below to see how we stack up against your preferred brand.
- Aftershave: 1 to 3% Oil Concentration
- Eau de Cologne: 2 to 6% Oil Concentration
- Eau de Toilette: 5 to 15% Oil Concentration
- Eau de Parfum: 10 to 20% Oil Concentration
- Extrait de Parfum: 30% Oil Concentration
